Tim Severin and his modern Argonauts are becoming something of a legend themselves. A Turkish balladeer sings of the boat and its 'crazy captain' who, together with his crew, has rowed and sailed nearly 1,500 miles in search of the Golden Fleece. Now comes the highpoint of the voyage - landfall in Soviet Georgia and the final search for clues to the truth behind the legend.

Born in Jamaica in 1928, Enrico Stennett, alias 'Mr Magic Feet', came to England in 1947. He soon became active in the Communist Party which, curiously, inspired his life-long passion, ballroom dancing. In 1952 he turned professional as one of Mecca's exhibition dancers, acutely aware of the colour bar which always prevented black people entering most dance halls. This, in turn, led to his involvement in politics - first the Communist Party and later the Labour Party. Mr Magic Feet's political and social life illustrates a largely-forgotten period in the history of black people in England from the late 40s to the Notting Hill race riots in 1958.

The Story of a Railway Town Crewe celebrated its 150th birthday on 4 July this year. Not many towns can be so precise, but Crewe can because that was the date in 1837 when the first train of the new Grand Junction
Railway ran to Crewe station at the dawn of the railway age. The town followed, growing up around the railway works, and ruled for many years from Euston.
Presented by Brian Redhead , with writer Anthony Burton and David Jenkinson of the National Railway Museum, the programme tells the story of Crewe's development into a major engineering centre
(the reality behind the music-hall image), with a look at some of the events there at the start of a summer of celebrations - including the return of some famous Crewe-built steam locomotives.

The family examines you; if you are dry, your remains are placed in one of the many marble lockers in the walls of Poggioreale cemetery. This is a custom unique to Naples. Here the ceremony of death has many servants, from
Bellomunno the famous undertaker with his massive black hearse, to Giovanni the gravedigger who handles each corpse with great respect and a pair of pink rubber gloves.
In the second of this four-part journey through death and memorial, Tony Harrison follows Mimmo Perrella as he sets out on his bizarre voyage towards his final resting place. And he explores what consolation belief in an afterlife gives to those who remain behind.
