For the last nine weeks hundreds of thousands of viewers have been ' inside' a comprehensive school. For some, like the boys at Radley College which was the subject of a previous BBCtv series, it has been a new experience. For many others the series Kingswood: A Comprehensive School, which ended earlier this evening, has prompted comparisons, and perhaps provided insights, into their own education.
Is Kingswood ' a fairly ordinary school'? What do viewers think of its, approach to discipline and learning? Has the headmaster's chief hope been fulfilled-that ' people might now think " I wouldn't mind sending my kids to that school ", or one like it'?
Members of viewing groups set up by the BBC give their answers in discussion with those who made the series.
