Sandra, Jane and Gaynor have a problem. Fat. Not the sort of fat that a diet charms away, but intractable wedges and folds of flabbiness that are made of sterner stuff. So perhaps Jane's desire for cream buns can only be made to wilt by the hypnotist's siren voice. If Sandra's hips and bottom refuse to conform, perhaps the answer will have to be the surgeon. And Gaynor-happy and homely at 20 stones - at last yields to society's pressure for the hour-glass figure and consents to the final solution, having her jaws wired together.
