Dramatic winter sports action featuring the world's top ski racers in high-speed competition in the World Cup:
The Men's Downhill from Val Gardena
Harti Weirather , from the Austrian Tyrol, has been winning races since he was six. He's known as one of the quieter men of the circuit, although he's reputed to be a mad car driver! He won last year's Men's Downhill in an exciting finish just five points ahead of Podborski.
High in the Italian Dolomites, the ' Saslonch ' course with its famous Camels Humps is one of the most spectacular in the World Cup calendar.
Last year, two races here produced victories for Switzerland's Peter Mueller , third in the downhill championship, and Austrian Harti Weirather , the eventual champion, but this season the twin Canadian challenge of Steve Podborski and Ken Read could take the 1982 title across the Atlantic.

continues a season of films starring William Holden. with Judy Holliday , Broderick Crawford In George Cukor 's film version of Garson Kanin 's enormously successful Broadway comedy, William Holden stooges magnificently to Judy Holliday 's Oscar-winning performance as the dumb blonde, Billie Dawn , whose amazing beauty is matched only by her monumental ignorance. Holden revealed a great talent for comedy as the famous writer hired to teach Billie etiquette and the social graces.
