The early evening magazine has a maritime flavour.
Duncan Gibbins and Marian Foster are the hosts when outside broadcast cameras visit the Royal Navy Air Station at Yeovilton, Somerset. Aircraft from a Second World War Swordfish to Concorde are featured in a tour of the Naval air museum, and among the guests is actor Michael Hordern , who served in the Fleet Air Arm at Yeovilton. Appropriately, the music comes from the Band of the Royal Marines.

The Sweeney Cooperage manufactures wooden barrels in an assembly plant on False Creek in Vancouver. The machinery is ancient, and the methods of production are antiquated. Here, perhaps for the last time, the dying art of ' cooping ' is shown - at one time a trade without which no one thought of existing.

You Don't Know You're Born
' Everybody's more selfish, families aren't close any more ... I'd rather have lived 50 years ago than be my age now.'
Janice is just 18, but feels she's already facing a whole lifetime's problems on her own.
Along with nine others, she's thrown into a pioneering two-week scheme aimed at bringing her not only a job, but a sense of belonging. Two years on, has she found either?
