A very important day for Britain's men and women as they attempt to qualify for the final in Zagreb in August.
In Helsinki Sebastian Coe is in action in the 800 metres and every point will be vital. The result could well depend on the last event - the 4 x 400 metres relay.
In Edinburgh the overall strength of Britain's girls should be enough to see them safely through.

The Taste of Death on My Tongue In 1781 Mozart left Salzburg, a city he loathed, for Vienna. Ten years later he died in penury and his corpse was thrown into a pauper's grave on the outskirts of the Imperial City.
Since his death rumours have abounded - he was a heavy gambler; he hastened his end by ' excesses ' with the ' loose-living rascals' of the opera house; he died of poisoning.
This documentary film traces the events of the last year of Mozart's life leading to his tragic and untimely death.

Jo Spence had been a professional photographer for years when suddenly she began to question what she was doing. Overnight she stopped photographing other people and turned to the snapshots of herself taken by others. It was an effort to see beyond the smiling images in her own family album.

A new production of Don Giovanni conducted by Sir Colin Davis opens at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, tomorrow night, launching a three-week Festival of Mozart.

In tonight's programme Sir Colin rehearses duets from Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro to reveal the extraordinary, intuitive insight that gives Mozart's music its special qualities. There are no real villains in the operas - even the bad are lovingly provided with music that shows the passion, and compassion, which Mozart shares with them as fellow human beings.

His marriage of 15 years has grown stale. In an attempt to rekindle their love and escape, temporarily, from an endless domestic routine, his wife Rose-Aimee insists on accompanying him.
This' visually striking Canadian film records their journey and gradual rediscovery of each other. Monique Mercure shared the Best Actress Award at Cannes in 1977 for her portrayal of Rose-Aimee.
