The award of £ 200 for hitting the most sixes went last season to Hampshire star Gordon Greenidge. He cleared the boundary line 20 times, five coming in one single innings on the last day of last season. As a result Hampshire, by the narrowest of margins, went on to become League Champions.

BBC2 joins with Radio 3 to relay live in stereo the whole of tonight's opening concert from the 33rd Edinburgh Festival.
Two colourful ballet scores inspired by Diaghilev, who died 50 years ago today, are played by the BBC Symphony Orchestra leader BELA DEKANY under its principal conductor
