The County Championship Final Middlesex v Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire have had a remarkable run in the Championships in recent years. Today's match will be the seventh successive final they have contested. Middlesex last won through to this stage in 1968 when they defeated Lancashire. Middlesex have a highly competent side which includes the new Scotland pairing of Alan Lawson and Ron Wilson at half-back and could stop Gloucestershire's powerful forwards from winning the title for the third year running.

Otter
Narrator BILL TRAVERS
European otters are graceful, playful and beautifully adapted to an amphibious life. They're also solitary, very elusive and mostly nocturnal, which is why so few of us see them.
Philip Wayre is the exception as he lives his life surrounded by otters of all sorts. And now he has even persuaded our British otters to breed in captivity. As a result of his work -and that of a small group of dedicated naturalists - we can at last begin to uncover - and now even film - some of the secrets of the otter's life.
