He finds a ready-made life as a novelist, and a new group of friends and business acquaintances. More important, he finds he is married to a beautiful girl who apparently hates him. In the hundredth edition of Europa three men look back at some of the more recent major and minor events which have happened in their own country and elsewhere. They are television journalists from Holland, France, and the Soviet Union, and it is they who in their own countries regularly present news and comment to their viewers. But tonight they will be presenting their comments to a foreign audience - to us.
A Dutchman, a Frenchman, and a Russian will tell you what they think has been happening and what it has all meant.
Introduced by Derek Hart
