[Starring] Keith Baxter as Jim Garden and George Sewell as Nicholls
Jim Garden, footballer, has reached the end of his short career. He has little money and a lot of press cuttings, and at thirty-four he's still young enough to enjoy life. But for that, he needs money. What better way of getting it than lifting the lid off football and revealing the dirt behind the profession. He meets a tough sports journalist to talk over his proposal. But what looks like a simple bit of muck-raking turns out very differently...

Horizon - Man and science today
Although in strictly scientific terms little is known about how and why music affects us, few can deny its power to elate, excite, rouse, inspire, soothe, relax.
Today, used as a therapy in the treatment of mental disorders, music plays a useful part in building up communication where none exists and in restoring communication where it has broken down. Music therapy has joined art, occupational and industrial therapy as an ancillary form of treatment. Carried out by trained musicians who have a knowledge of the disorders of the patients, it is considered by its supporters to play a valuable role in helping the mentally ill and the severely mentally handicapped.
