on BBC Two England

by John Wyndham
Dramatised by Owen Holder
With Keith Barron, Tracy Reed, Noel Howlett, Bernard Brown and Carole Boyer

A physicist, blown up in a laboratory accident, finds himself in another plane of existence, parallel in time to our own. He finds a ready-made life as a novelist, and a new group of friends and business acquaintances. More important, he finds he is married to a beautiful girl who apparently hates him. How can he explain that he is not the man she thinks he is?
