What qualifications can you get from Art College? How can you use them? How else can you sell creative talent?
Many young people feel they want to earn their living in a job that is creative. And many of them won't have realised that this doesn't necessarily mean you take a course in drama or art. If you do, it is essential to know what you want to study; where you can follow the course; and how you are going to use it later.
This programme illustrates these points with film of two real-life case studies; and follows up with a discussion on how to help young people with saleable artistic talent to solve these problems.

The Consultant Physician and a General Practitioner discuss the flu epidemic and give you advice about the disease. The programme also introduces a Professor of Medicine who has studied influenza all his life and who was the first man in the world to catch flu from a ferret.

An emaciated young man is moving from doss-house to doss-house in the Vienna of 1909. He is struggling desperately to receive recognition as an artist, but all he receives is abuse. He makes friends with a wily down-and-out called Reinhold Hanisch who for his own ends wants to help sell his paintings. But Hanisch is to remember his brief association with the young artist for his name is Adolf Hitler.
