Gordon Wilkins covers the world of motoring

A new British fastback is out today. It is in the style of the American Mustang, offering fourseater family motoring or high performance in rallies and racing according to price, which is between £900 and £1,200.
With a choice of six engines and twenty-six different kinds of colour and trim, this new coupe could set a fashion in fastbacks.
The car was tested last week by motoring correspondents on the island of Cyprus, and it is from there that Wheelbase reports.
The programme also includes an on-the-spot report on the Monte Carlo Rally which ended earlier today.
