In the story chair, Ted Moult who tells his own story "Early in the Morning"

Ted Moult is the visiting storyteller this week and the stories he tells are about his own farm in Derbyshire. On Wednesday Play School has another visitor from a farm, a real calf, and Brian and Valerie try to give it some milk from the bucket. On Tuesday, when Play School can be seen in colour, Valerie does some painting and on the picture-board you can see some of the many new paintings that have been sent to Play School.

The Final round of this tournament was played yesterday and this recording of the thrill-packed climax is introduced by Harry Carpenter with the assistance of Malcolm Gregson, one of Britain's top professional golfers who has just returned from the U.S. circuit.
