English National Opera reunite many of the cast of their acclaimed production of Prokofiev's operatic masterpiece based on Tolstoy's novel. Against the backdrop of Napoleon's invasion, three aristocrats find, and lose, their ideal in beautiful young Natasha Rostova. Meanwhile, the long-suffering Russian people bear the brunt of historical events.
