Live from the Royal Albert Hall, London.

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, under their music director for life, make a long-awaited return to the Proms. Stravinsky's pioneering ballet, composed for Diaghilev's Ballet Russe in Paris, and his wartime symphony, composed in America, are complemented by the colourful Arabian Nights suite by Stravinsky's teacher, Rimsky-Korsakov. Presented by Sandy Burnett.
