Gesualdo Lucie Skeaping looks at the life and music of the 16th-century Italian musician and murderer, Carlo Gesualdo , Prince of Venosa. This astonishing eccentric was only redicovered in the 1920s but influenced composers as diverse as Peter Warlock and Igor Stravinsky. Including examples of Gesualdo's madrigals, motets and responses. (R)
