Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau
Hilary Finch introduces the first of two programmes of archive recordings of the great German baritone Dietrich Fischer -Dieskau at the Aldeburgh Festival. Including music by Schumann and Schubert, and the 1965 premiere of Britten's Songs and Proverbs of William Blake with the composer at the piano.
