The South Bank Centre's Walton
Centenary Festival continues with a concert recorded last Saturday at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. The City of London Sinfonia conducted by Richard Hickox perform the Sonatafor strings, Felicity Lott then joins the groupto perform a cycle of six songs written "In honour of the City of London", and the evening ends with The Bear - an Extravaganza in One Act, based on a play by Chekhov.

Plus a critical look at the early output of BBC4, the new cultural digital TV channel.
