Michael Berkeley 's guest is James Bernard , the composer of many famous Hammer horror film scores, including Nosferatu and Dracula - Prince of Darkness. Before embarking on his own composing career, James Bernard worked briefly with Benjamin Britten , and here he talks about his experiences at Aldeburgh. His musical choices range from Britten and Verdi to Suk and Rachmaninov.

Camille Paglia , one of America's most controversial cultural critics, gives her own provocative account of the course of feminism.
