The Geometry of Life. This film follows the world's leading genetic researchers as they untangle the double helix of DNA, travel to a remote South
American village to study inherited disease and to begin to understand the complex biochemistry that makes each living thing on earth unique.

Live coverage of the men's semi-finals where, this time last year, Pete Sampras and Jim Courier knocked out former championship title-holders Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg respectively, to reach their first Wimbledon final. If this year's seedings are accurate - and that's certainly not always the case - then reigning champion Sampras will meet Croatian Goran Ivanisevic in one semi-final, and former champions Michael Stich of Germany and the consistant Swede, Edberg, will meet in the other. Sampras, Stich and Edberg are currently the top rated players in the world. Ivanisevic, runner-up in 1992, is ranked fifth.
Commentators for the week are John Barrett, Mark Cox, Paul Hutchins, Ann Jones, David Mercer, Bill Threlfall, Julian Tutt and Virginia Wade.

When producer Beryl Vertue read an obscure paperback, Men Behaving Badly, she instantly recognised its television potential and determined to track down its author. She found Simon Nye working as a translator in a bank and together they developed the series which went on to win the 1992 British Comedy Award for best ITV sitcom. This third series sees the programme switch channels.
In tonight's first episode, Gary becomes alarmed that he is sexually inexperienced and invents a rampant past. But proving to Dorothy he has had over 50 lovers could be difficult.
Meanwhile, in an effort to impress Deborah with his athletic prowess, Tony finds himself on the top board at the local swimming-pool - and immediately regrets it.
Nye has since written Frank Stubbs Promotes and a forthcoming series on the legal profession for ITV, Is It Legal?
