Police thriller starring Burt Reynolds Catherine Deneuve
Phil Gaines is a poor but honest cop, devoted to his job. His companion is Nicole, a beautiful call girl, equally attached to her more lucrative profession. Together they plan to escape the world of hustling and violence, but when Gaines becomes involved in a brutal murder case, it dramatically affects both their lives. Watch out for actor Robert Englund , who found fame as Freddie Kreuger in the Nightmare on Elm Street horror series, and has a small role in this film.
