Lausanne in Switzerland is the setting for today's Grand Prix meeting, as the pace quickens prior to next month's European Championships.

In this part of the coverage John Regis and Tony Jarrett are scheduled to carry British hopes in the 200 metres and metres hurdles respectively. When the event continues on BBC2, Sally Gunnell, holder of both the World and the Olympic titles, will be in action in the 400 metres hurdles.
