Argentina, twice world
I champions and runners-up four years ago, continue their group D progress against Nigeria, making their first appearance in the finals, in a match coming live from Boston's Foxboro Stadium.
Argentina scraped through to the finals, beating Australia in a play-off. That was where
Maradona, who ended the final in tears after a shabby
Argentine performance in the final against Germany, reappeared in the team.
The skilful but relatively inexperienced Nigerians should not be underestimated. Most of their squad feature in European league football, with British attention focusing on Efan Ekoku who plays for Norwich City. There are also highlights of the group F games between
Belgium and Holland and Saudi Arabia against Morocco.
Introduced by Bob Wilson , with Terry Venables and Alan Hansen , commentary by John Motson and John Fashanu.
