Tension at the Queen Vic is mounting as Grant discovers that Dougie has altered the arrangements for their planned supermarket robbery and he has serious doubts about his involvement. Sharon is also increasing the pressure on Grant.

Mandela's Promised Land
In 1987 the BBC's Michael Buerk (along with Peter Sharp of ITN) was refused a renewal of his work permit to report from South Africa - effectively he was expelled, as part of the increasing government clampdown on coverage of the apartheid regime.
Now Buerk has returned to follow and talk to a man who was then a prisoner, Nelson Mandela , in the build-up to an election that should confirm him as president of the country that once tried to crush him.

Bringing together a wealth of fresh, largely female talent, this three-part adaptation of Jeanette Winterson's novel took great risks when it was first screened four years ago.
Beeban Kidron had never directed a television drama, Phillippa Giles had never produced, and 7-year-old actress Emily Aston had never acted beyond the school stage. But the series went on to win two Bafta awards: for best serial, with a best actress award for Geraldine McEwan as the religiously fanatic mother.
