Crack open the Bollinger and get the Lacroix out of mothballs: Edina and Patsy are back in the second series of Jennifer Saunders's acclaimed comedy.
"I did worry about whether or not it would appeal beyond the boundaries of Soho," said Saunders of the first series, but it did: laden with British awards, it rounded off 1993 by winning an American Emmy.
In this first episode, Hospital, Patsy is involved in a sex scandal and goes to hospital with Edina. Watch out for guest appearances by Helena Bonham Carter, Mandy Rice-Davies, Richard E Grant, Germaine Greer and Suzi Quatro.

Many people lay claim to fathering the alternative comedy movement, but few have such right as Ben Elton, the archetypal alternative stand-up whose non-sexist, non-racist, left-wing routines and sparkling "Sellafield" suit rewrote the rules of 80s humour. The suit has gone, but Elton Is back with a new series of observations and, of course, a little bit of politics. Elton fearlessly tackles the government on such issues as: "Is there a secret ministry for crap design, especially for such things as teapots in motorway service stations, which are made of super heat-conducting metal so you can't pick them up until the tea has gone cold?".
