Radio 1's Steve Wright is a familiar Tops of the Pops face, of course, but this new series marks his BBC1 debut with his own programme. It's an irreverent and comic game show peeking at the private and professional lives of people from sport, politics and show business.
Each week, three celebrities join Wright and compete to discover who knows most about each other's murky past. This week: chat-show host Jonathan Ross, veteran DJ Alan Freeman, and Diane Abbott MP.
This week: crofters on the islands of the Outer Hebrides have been farming the land in a traditional way for centuries. But recently scientists have been studying crofting and have realised that it may be closer than we thought to the very latest ideas about how to protect the environment. Producer Bill Grist ; Editor Dana Purvis
JayneTorvilland Christopher Dean continue their renaissance as international competitive skaters in this live coverage of the free dance routines from Copenhagen. It was at the same venue that they earned a standing ovation and a row of perfect sixes from the judges for their Mack and Mabel routine in 1982, two years before becoming household names with Bolero.
The routine they have developed for 1994 was a closely guarded secret until it was revealed at the British
Championships at Sheffield earlier this month; this is the first time it is tested against their international competitors. Sue Barker introduces the evening's coverage, which will decide the destiny of the European title.
