Everyone knows that the talented can be temperamental, but that's no excuse when Leroy is increasingly late for rehearsals. In fact, it may lose him the lead in a school production.

In 1337 Edward of Woodstock, the Black Prince, rode to Launceston Castle to be proclaimed the first Duke of Cornwall. Today, almost 650 years later, the 24th duke, Charles, Prince of Wales, controls the Duchy.
Many of his predecessors hardly knew where Cornwall was, let alone visited it. But Prince Charles is very much the boss when it comes to running the scattered 130,000-acre estate.
Unlike other members of the royal family he receives nothing from the Civil List. His income is entirely dependent upon his management of the Duchy of Cornwall as a business.
It's a delicate, at times difficult, balancing act for the man bom to be king. But, as Jenni Murray reports, the Duchy of today still serves the purpose it did all those years ago when Edward in made his son the first duke.
The estate provides the first-born son of a monarch with independent means and lands and men to manage. Researcher JUDY HILL

The exciting climax of the 36th consecutive series of Come Dancing.

David Jacobs is your host and Charles Nove the commentator as, after six weeks of enthralling competition at the majestic Tower Ballroom, Blackpool, Home Counties South dance against the victors of last night's semi-final between Midlands and West, the title-holders, and North West.

Appropriately, for their last tribute to the great dance band leaders, musical director Andy Ross and charismatic world latin champions Donnie Burns and Gaynor Fairweather turn their combined talents to the music of the legendary Glenn Miller.
