2: Death in the Drinking Water

starring Richard Benjamin
Frank Langella , Carrie Snodgress For Jonathan Balser , a smugly affluent New York lawyer, success is measured by being seen at parties with the 'right' people, and knowing how to order overpriced French wines. But for Tina, his long-suffering wife, the dreadful conformity and social climbing are an increasing burden. In desperation she embarks on an affair which, for all its sexual satisfaction, brings her even more mental strain ...
Frank Perry 's satire on New York high society is one of the most acerbic and brilliant comedies of the past decade.
