David Gower's news, interviews and features magazine programme returns to reflect upon the serious and light-hearted issues from the cricket world.
This season's regular new items include typically forthright views from Geoffrey Boycott on the issues of the month, and one player's video diary that provides a unique record of the events behind closed doors in a county cricket club. The first man behind the camera is Dermot Reeve, captain of county champions Warwickshire.
The programme also talks to Ray Illingworth , Mike Atherton and David Lloyd about the possible paths to success ahead for the beleaguered English cricket team after a disappointing winter on tour; news of the intriguing ways some cricketers fill the long close season, a review of the dramatic climax to the recent one-day World Cup, and the important changes affecting the new domestic season.

A Top Gear special investigating the mysterious affair of a missing pre-war Mercedes W 154 grand prix racing car, bought by a millionaire car collector, and lost when the Ceausescu regime in Romania collapsed. The year-long search involves defections, restraining orders, court hearings and organised crime.

The Search for the Silver Arrow 8.00pm BBC2
The 1939 Mercedes Silver Arrow is one of the rarest cars in the world. Only 14 of these superb racing cars are known to have been built, designed originally as a symbol of Nazi techological supremacy. Only five are believed to have survived the war; these were carefully hidden in 1944 to prevent them falling into Allied hands.
In 1988, millionaire car collector Terry Cohn discovered that a Silver Arrow had come to light in Romania, and he set about trying to buy it. After parting with $2 million he failed to receive the car, which disappeared after the collapse of Ceausescu's regime. Tonight's Top Gear special, produced by Prince Edward's Ardent Productions, picks up the trail of the Silver Arrow as it moves between secret locations across Europe.
