Three groups of intrepid travellers journeyed around the world last summer in spartan living conditions, with only a rucksack, a meagre budget, and a television crew for company.
In the first of three programmes, Irish friends Suzanne Lavery and Amanda Brady set off for Indonesia's bustling capital Jakarta and its idyllic offshore islands. From there it's on to Darwin and the Australian outback. They go scuba diving around the Great Barrier Reef, watch whales in Hervey Bay and end theirjourney in Sydney.
