Mind My Corpuscles
It is generally known that blood is categorised by a number of different blood groups related to the red corpuscles. But the white corpuscles can also belong to different groups. Before a transplant operation can proceed, careful checking must be done to ensure that the donor and the recipient belong to the same tissue group of white corpuscles.

Live from the Kirov Opera, Leningrad, this unique
Anglo-Soviet collaboration presents Sergei Prokofiev 's epic in a new production by Graham Vick to mark the centenary of the composer's birth. The opera is based on Tolstoy's novel and combines the vast panorama of Russian society as it faces Napoleon's invasion with the love story of Prince Andrei Bolkonsky and the young Natasha Rostova. Presented by Robert Lloyd , who scored a personal triumph when he sang Boris Godunov at the Kirov last year.

Self-made documentaries about people's lives.
Sweet S A. Last year,
Fritz Joubert and his black British wife Jenni left London to try starting a new life in South Africa. Fritz had fled his country six years ago to avoid being conscripted into the South African Defence Force.
His return could lead to imprisonment; certainly he would have to face his father who had disowned him because of his marriage. Their diary records the problems they face as they decide if a 'new' South Africa is to be their chosen home.
Producer Bob Long
Series producer Jeremy Gibson
