Going Homeless
Fifty people a day ask Mary Tester for a home. It's her job to decide who Westminster Council has a legal duty to house. In one of the wealthiest boroughs in Britain, the number of homeless continues to rise, yet the council is determined to sell off nearly half of its housing stock. Roisin MacAuley goes backstage with the public servants who have to balance political targets with human desperation, and make hard judgments about who goes homeless.

Third of nine programmes The Couriers
Tonight, the second of two films with the 'Romeos', a crack Customs cocaine target team, as Operation Renaissance accelerates.
There is clandestine day and night observation of the south London pub where the 'Mr Big ' is recruiting new couriers. Surveillance switches to Earls Court as the organiser and couriers are monitored purchasing their tickets for a run to Australia via South America to pick up the cocaine.
The Romeos shadow their departure from Heathrow and an undercover team of Customs and police are waiting for them in Australia. In south London, 60 officers prepare for a series of dawn raids. The cameras follow the action in Australia and to south London as officers use the 'big key' to enter the target premises. Meanwhile, the man the Romeos have targeted as their main suspect flies unknowingly into their arms at Heathrow.
