Film-maker Alex Cox introduces a series of classic cult films.
Tonight: Electra Glide in Blue
Starring Robert Blake, Billy (Green) Bush

Roaring up and down the Arizona highways, motorcycle cop John Wintergreen dreams of becoming a detective.
When he discovers a corpse, apparently suicide, 'Big John' decides that it is, in fact, murder. With his hunch proved correct he is promoted to detective, but he soon finds the work far from glamorous. Cameraman Conrad Hall brilliantly captures the spectacular American landscape, creating a fascinating background to the action.
Screenplay by ROBERT BORRIS Based on the novel by ROBERT BORRIS and RUPERT HITZIG Produced and directed by JAMES WILLIAM GUERCIO
