As a boxer, Isaiah Stein was a prosperous and well-respected member of the coloured community in Cape Town. But, with political involvement came arrest, the end of his sporting ambitions and finally, exile.
But Isaiah Stein 's story wasn't to end in despair. He has assets which few possess - his seven sons. Now, in England, two are professional footballers, two non-league players and two professional tennis coaches. Among them are Brian and Mark Stein of Luton Town, but they are just the tip of the iceberg of Stein sporting talent.

'de-recognised'. Yet although the powers are gone, the trappings - and the memories - remain.
In this, the first of two programmes, members of the royal families talk of the past.... of fierce battles and heroic sacrifices of life in the zenana or harem, of hunting, fabled wealth and the golden years under British paramount rule.
The film is a unique record of disappearing ceremonies and rituals and contains exclusive footage from the Maharajas' personal archives. Running through the documentary is the dramatised story of a princess, played by Simi Garewal , taking her nephew Ajit (Jugal Hansraj ) to his new school.
