The Five Nations Championship
Ireland v England
The Digital International France v Wales
Nigel Starmer-Smith introduces highlights of yesterday's internationals. After the frosts of January caused the postponement of the first-round matches, the International Championship started with both England and Wales having away-fixtures. It was England's power pack that brought about Ireland's downfall last season, but this year the balance is much closer. Wales were well beaten up-front by France last season, but with JONATHAN DA VIES inspiring the backs anything is possible.

The World Ski-ing Championships from Crans-Montana
After 12 days of high-speed competition, today's final race could prove to be the most keenly contested as the story of the Men's Slalom unfolds. Sweden's
JONAS NILSSON defends the title he won two years ago from previous champion INGEMAR STENMARK , but Scandinavian celebrations could be spoiled by the East Europeans, the re-birth of the Italian challenge, or Luxembourg's all-rounder MARC GIRARDELLI. The Volcano Watchers
Fountains of scalding lava shoot hundreds of feet into the air. The ground shakes and heaves. Streams of molten lava pour from fissures that have opened in the flanks of Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii. For two French volcanologists,
Maurice and Katia Krafft , this is just another memorable event in 20 years of world-wide volcano watching and filming.
From Indonesia to Iceland, from Africa to Japan, as thousands of people flee, the Kraffts head for the disaster area. In pursuing their dangerous explorations, they have filmed some of the most awesome spectacles that our planet can offer: volcanoes bursting into life - and death.
