A series of films in which people can let off steam, grind their axe or simply have a chuckle. Beryl Cook
A highly successful yet totally untrained artist, she only started painting in her late 30s. Her subjects are mostly women, usually middle-aged and nearly always enjoying themselves. Plymouth, where she lives with her car-salesman husband, provides the setting for many of her pictures - the Hoe where she walks the dogs, the shops and market, and above all the pubs. Eva Ninnis 's love of the open countryside is reflected in the informal design of her garden - and while other gardens are fading from their best at this time of the year, the long double-herbaceous border is awash with colour from plants chosen for their blooms, berries, hips and foliage effects. 'In my garden foliage plants are the backbone of all seasons,' says Eva, and the plants she's chosen reflect the colour of the changing seasons. Production assistant

The war is over. Both of Oedipus' sons have been killed in the battle and Creon now rules supreme in Thebes, determined to establish law and order to save the state from further carnage. As a warning to any future rebel he decrees that the body of Polynices, who attacked the city, shall remain unburied, on pain of death for anyone who transgresses. Antigone, the dead man's sister, decides to defy the decree.
