International Tennis: Stella Artois Championship
No one's making excuses for bad line calls, or manners, but the difference between coming first and second this afternoon at Queen's is £13,000. With the winner taking £25,000, that constitutes one helluva day at the office. Dan Maskell and John Barrett commentate from 2.30.

Cricket: Gloucestershire v Derbyshire: John Player Special League
This has all the makings of a last over, 6.40 finish. They ended up sixth and fourth last season. Bruce Roberts and David Lawrence might be worth waiting in to watch. Peter Walker and Ralph Dellor in the Bristol area from 2.0.

The Royal International Horse Show: Next Championship for the Queen Elizabeth II Cup
Awkward title this for the sponsors but the Queen Elizabeth is one all the girls want to win. Raymond Brooks-Ward and Stephen Hadley were there when Sue Pountain won last time.

Water-skiing
The able-bodied had their day yesterday, here some heavy duty bottle from the less capable, around 4.30.

Motor Racing: Canadian Grand Prix
Don't get excited if this doesn't happen, but the race starts at 5.0 and if it rains at the cricket that's where for a few laps at least you'll go - if not, Grand Prix at 10.20. Murray Walker and James Hunt in any event. Television presentation: Tennis FRED Viner

However even Brabham, with their excellent record in Canada, and Ferrari, who were first and second last year, will find it hard to break the domination of the McLaren, Williams and Lotus teams in this year's championship. Commentators
