Used-car dealer
Arnold Bristow regains consciousness after a hit-and-run accident with some rather startling revelations. Was it really who he says it was driving the car that hit him? Was what the driver shouted at him of such spiritual significance? Was the incident simply a reminder that he should be going out into the world to put to use a certain - hitherto unused - gift?

Throughout last night and today the cars have been driving flat-out and non-stop through some of the worst terrain the rally has to offer - the Keilder forest complex, known affectionately among the drivers as Killer Keilder. Quite often at this point more than 30 per cent of the cars have had to drop out and there are still two days to go. William Woolldard introduces the latest news and action live from Rally
HQ in Chester, Barrie Gill commentates and Sue Baker reports from the stages.
