Skylab, the American space station, was a unique experiment in long-term survival in the weightlessness of space. Horizon explores the effects of weightlessness on daily life, on human physiology and psychology, and on sheer fun and games; with the help of film and television footage from Skylab and the reminiscences of some of its ex-inhabitants.

Introduced by Angela Rippon who, with the help of viewers' letters, puts her guests on the spot when she asks them to enlarge on some of the views of country life that they have voiced so enthusiastically during the series. Tonight's country guests are Phil Drabble , Elizabeth Eyden , Bernard Price and Joe Henson. The country matters they discuss include game, gamekeepers and the whole business of field sports; long-distance paths and the differences of opinion between the ramblers and trail riders; horses and the trade in horse meat; lurchers and hare coursing; and ways of revitalising village life and the economy of the countryside.

Directed by LUIS BUÑUEL starring Catherine Deneuve with Jean Sorel , Michel Piccoli
The first in an international season of films by six of Europe's most distinguished directors: Bunuel's sumptuously filmed picture of the rich wife whose erotic fantasies lead her to work part-time in a brothel, won the best picture award at the 1967 Venice Film Festival.
Severine, recently married to a successful surgeon, finds her days boring and empty and her evenings equally unsatisfying. A chance bit of gossip about a girl-friend at first intrigues her and then leads her into a dangerous double-life.
