After his father's death Michelis has given all his inherited property to the refugees. Pope Grigoris was warned that he will not allow them to take possession and has excommunicated Manolios as anti-Christ in which both Pope Fotis and Manolios are branded by the Bishop as Bolsheviks.

Introduced by Magnus Magnusson

At midnight on 26 October 1588 the galleass Girona, a warship of the Spanish Armada, foundered on the cruel rocks of the Irish coast with the loss of 1,300 lives. Aboard were the combined commanders and crews of five ships, their gold, jewels, ornaments, and treasured possessions salvaged from the defeated Armada
Four hundred years later Robert Stenuit, a Belgian diver, author, and archaeologist, located the wreck of the Girona. Tonight, with Magnus Magnusson, he tells the story of two years' dangerous and painstaking work to reveal this first discovery of the legendary treasure of the Armada, and presents the latest finds still appearing as the dive continues

based on the play by J. B. Priestley
starring Alastair Sim
with Arthur Young, Olga Lindo

When a police inspector calls to investigate a young girl's suicide, it is a disturbing experience for a smug provincial family to find that they, unknown to each other, have pushed her step by step to her death
This film follows J. B. Priestley's original play almost word-for-word, but Guy Hamilton's direction makes use of film technique

J. B. Priestley is 75 today. A birthday tribute can be seen in Omnibus tomorrow evening on BBC1. See story on page 13
