Christ Recrucified: 5: The Savage Face of Christ

on BBC Two England

by Nikos Kazantzakis
Dramatised in six parts by Jack Pulman

After his father's death Michelis has given all his inherited property to the refugees. Pope Grigoris was warned that he will not allow them to take possession and has excommunicated Manolios as anti-Christ in which both Pope Fotis and Manolios are branded by the Bishop as Bolsheviks.

The delightful music for Christ Recrucified was written by a talented Greek Cypriot, George Kotsonis.
