Edinburgh International Festival 2002
A double bill of Bach perfomed as part of the late-night Usher Hall series at the Edinburgh Festival last month. Dutch cellist Pieter Wispelwey performs three of the solo cello suites by Bach, including the virtuosic sixth suite, written for a five-string cello. And one of the great performers of Bach on the piano, Angela Hewitt , plays the Goldberg Variations.
