For over 30 years, James Bowman has been one of the world's leading countertenors. Throughout this week,
Brian Kay talks to James Bowman about his career at the forefront of early music and his support of new music for the countertenor voice. Today they look at some of the recordings he has made for the BBC since 1967, including Vaughan Williams's Ten Blake Songs (with oboist Anthony Robson ), Michael Nyman 's Inanna and Her Omnipotence (with Fretwork) and Bach's Cantata No 82(with the King's Consort).
