is the title of a collection by the poet Brian Alexan der. Alexander was born in 1949 and achieved brief fame with his readings on the poetry circuit and subsequent broadcasts. However, with the failure of his first play he left the literary scene and little has been heard of him since.
Christopher Ricks , who is currently compiling a selection of his works, presents, in conversation with those who knew him, a portrait of this strange, somewhat controversial figure. Poems read by James Bolam
