Frank Stokes sang about his local mayor 'Mr Crump don't like it'; Sam Lightnin' Hopkins sang about the difficulties of life down on Tim Moore's Farm'; Otis Spann was inspired by the death of President Kennedy to sing 'Sad Day in Texas.'
