An all-night festival of classical music from the Indian subcontinent. India has a centuries-old tradition of all-night music-making and many classical raags are traditionally only played at night.
Birmingham's International Convention Centre is the venue for an event that brings together some of the leading names in South Asian music, including U Shrinivas , who has been called the Eric Clapton of the mandolin; flute player Ronu Majumdar with tabla player Abhijit Benerjee; classical vocal duo Rajan and Sajan Misra; and Anuradha Paudwal, one of the stars of Bollywood film playback singing.
