World of Brass at Symphony Hall
Petroc Trelawny presents highlights from concerts given at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, and Symphony Hall,
Birmingham, featuring the current National Brass Band Champions, who celebrate their centenary this year. Music includes the world premiere of The Trumpets of the Angels by Edward Gregson and the Trumpet Concerto by Aratunian, featuring the young Russian virtuoso Sergei Nakariakov.
