Just over two years on from the Good Friday Agreement, the poet Paul Muldoon investigates whether the peace process in Northern Ireland has been influenced by the regard of writers and artists for the complexity and difficulty of the situation. On a journey through both parts of the country, he speaks to heading figures, including Seamus Heaney, Tom Paulin, Patrick McCabe and Glenn Patterson. How far have writers on both sides of the border helped to create the terms of engagement in the search for peace? (R)
