Live from the Royal Albert Hall, London. Two powerful masterpieces dominate this 25th anniversary concert marking the death of Shostakovich on 9 August 1975. The music speaks eloquently for itself in the Michelangelo Sonnets - last reflections on the life of a creator - and in the titanic Symphony No 8.
